strike
Calling general strike is very a foolish affair, is an example of dumbness of political parties. I can remember on different occasion people came out on street against or sometime for some causes or events. In my life time, right or wrong, Emergency of Indira Gandhi was such a cause. There was little organized loud campaign before declaration of election, population was strongly, mostly emotionally, polarized. Today as I see it public demonstrations and general strikes are so commonly called, appeal is strikingly low. There is no remorse in me that I do not listen to the strikers who I believe live in a different unrealistic world of their own. I have a feeling that leader’s think we common people are suckers. Perhaps it is to some extent correct otherwise how bunch of crooks rule. Those so called democratic parties, in opposition or in ruling position, are bird of same feather with different hue, they earn their booty by extortions and service to corporate and rich. With their gift of gab leaders lie right and left, always find some believers as their foot soldiers. But their main strength comes from ruffians. It is mutual arrangement of evolution. Rogues need protection from/of law and those crooks need strong arm to numb common man. This unholy alliance is very suitable for a class of rich so money bags hover around.
