Babble 042

Good and bad; all happenings can be god to some and bad to some; all happenings can be somewhat good for ignoramus and bad too. As that news goes Dalits had entered a temple. Being ignorant of the details of last ten years, ignoramus feels happy and unhappy at the same time.

Those Dalits, who force enter the temples after ten years of fight, are Hindu by birth. Who had stopped their entry, so long, were also Hindus. And both of the groups are God-Deity believers. Perhaps some of them are somewhat educated by any standard. Why after sixty years of independence this makes a headline in Hindu majority State?

All religions and dogmas have these sorts of problems. Perhaps in certain age castes were useful to some societies. Today we carry the baggage. Hindus of today do not need it. We like any other developing societies keep these divisions set aside quickly, individually and collectively. Perhaps Boodhooram Ignoramus is ignorantly qualified to say so. Ignoramus, himself a Hindu by birth, is a product of inter caste marriage and is living with many inter-caste married families. He had seen, in his teens, one of his parents came out of dogma of communism. And he could, thanks to his Grandma and other liberal ancestors, get out of God-deity-haven-incarnations belief. ‘Yes we can’, it is possible to come out of junk beliefs. We can change our beliefs, if we want.

Babble 041

Kolkata is situated in Ganges delta basin and temperate climatic zone. Other than winter three months humidity remains above 80% all the time and mostly 95% daytimes. An electric fan is very essential for minimum comfort. This also helps to disturb attacking mosquitoes and flies.

In Kolkata houses are desired to be south facing. Most of the time of the year cool air comes from seashores 40 miles away in the South. In winter air comes from north. Houses are preferred to be South and East open. If they can afford people make big wooden shuttered windows and ceilings high. And make big verandas to use daylight for daily works. These houses consume less electricity than other houses.

Due to good ancestral decisions Ignoramus is living in such a house. This computer and internet, his addition and addiction, consumes electricity. His cell phone a recent addition consumes energy too.

Cooking is done by gas LPG. A part of it could be done by solar energy, not yet explored in the family.

How to take pictures of foggy morning? That is view from veranda, 1st floor, of his house. This camera consumes electricity.

ignoramus is thinking of green habits.

Correction: Kolkata is in sub-tropical weather zone and not in Temparate climate.

Babble 039a

Ignoramus was clicking this picture today. One gentleman shouted “hide the camera this is a prohibited place”. Perhaps I saw it somewhere many years ago, a board. I thanked gentleman. Sorry, forgot to take his picture.

Ignoramus was on the bank of Rabindra Sarobar, a lake at Kolkata, in the morning. This public place attracts tens of thousands all age all sex people for morning afternoon walk and play everyday. Arguably this is good place for lovers, at noon and evening, too.

Why is photography prohibited here? It is almost not implement able and unimportant. Today with all sorts of mini gadgets photographing has become undetectable. Perhaps it is a Second World War prohibition. Authority forgot to withdraw the notice.

Let’s hope no human being will impeach a bad photo blog of Sun in overcast sky.

Babble 040

I believe. I know. I believe and I know. I believe I know. I know that I believe “Little aberration in nerve cells or body chemicals between them and man becomes normal animal.”
This blog is a private place provided by Google, every body is free to make comment. Ignoramus has lot of secrets to hide between the lines, not worth exploring. All unknowns of nature are secret till we explore it and share with others. Honor of privacy is social respect, a bond.
From long experience of life Ignoramus conclude that many private secrets are not worth made public even if known to others. Those charms of rumor mongering are cherished by many, you will deprive them fun.

Babble 039

Difference between humans and rest of living things: man make religion/ideals/law/rules/regulations (mostly for others) to obey/follow and often very much different from natures laws. All other living things obey natural laws only. We humans, even in the name of development, go against grains of nature.
‘Success’ in longevity, infant mortality, and life expectancy have to be re-evaluated. Human population is growing at high speed plus long lives make rate of increase of consumption, becoming exponential, unsustainable.
There are maniacs who in the name idealism/religion want to kill hundreds or thousands. There are incurable bad people who in the name of power/politics ‘successfully’ engineer riots to kill millions. Ignoramus easily imagine of state leaders, if not checked, can destroy part of the earth, in the name of self defense, with the help of weapon of mass destructions. In the world of business apparently sane people, in the name of ‘success’ and profit, use chemicals or technical processes harmful to mankind or other living creatures. All these together will not dent much in population growth story. One huge debate is raging that there is evidence of environment is heating; are we, humans, the cause. Whatever, if the evidence is true, the effect of heating up will affect population badly.
It is very natural we living creatures love to have sex; survival of gin. Again abstain from sex is also at times natural, survival of gin. To live, procreate, fight for food and sex even die, fight till death for survival of offspring, abandon offspring sometimes, suicide, all for survival of gin, not individual gin but for gin of the species. There is lot more to be discovered.
The laws or rules so far made (by humans) were based on religion/politics/philosophy and/or other non science based knowledge. Those old knowledge bases of religion/rules/laws must now be questioned often with new knowledge. We have many redundant rules and laws; these should not crowd the rule books. Young and old professional politicians run for seats of parliaments, assemblies, municipalities to be part of state power system. We, public, pay, direct and indirect taxes, their salary and pension etc. Often they work for personal gains using state and party positions. How to make them do their work?
