Quest 002
Francisco Sionil Jose wrote “The Koreans, Taiwanese and the Japanese ------- simply understood the logic of Government, which is service, and that of commerce, which is profit.” This quote simplifies a lot of things.
Service to whom, is the Quest. Though majority is poor and destitute, Robinwhoodism is not the idea of Government. In poor country Gov has to balance between wealth generation and distribution/percolation. So policies to develop earning possibilities of commoners are important.
Is there a logic of India Gov 1) to invest money and 2) to run industrial and commercial activities such as aviation, banking, steel making, car making etc on 2005? Are our entrepreneurs strong enough to take care of those industry and commerce without creating a mess of it? Wherever competitive climate is developed Gov will get out after incorporating independent regulating authority. Population is growing very fast. To maintain sustainable development, provocation is very high to sell car making shares and spend in human endowment. Quest is service to whom.
