Appeal of communism is in distribution of wealth. Old capitalism is strong on wealth creation. At this age we are observer to the big experiment in China, which is trying to balance its best with both. North Europe is doing the same for long time, other way. Their system encouraged entrepreneurship for wealth creation in industry and services. Then tax at high rate to subsidize education, health services and social security. Ignoramus was reading a survey on Philanthropy in a western magazine “The Economist”. A successful capitalist fight tooth and nail with his competitor for market share and with Government to hold on to the gains he earned, and then also enjoy giving handsomely for the needy. Ignoramus finds it funny; then, he wonders, perhaps this is ingrained in humans since the age of hunter-gatherer.
